Answers To Labeight Population

The Man from Earth

Tip: if you intend to watch this movie (and you should, trust me), do without knowing anything about the plot. You'll appreciate it more. If you just can not help it, I will give a hint in the following lines.

--- SPOILER ---
During the farewell party of prof. John Oldman, he reveals a small circle of friends to be a caveman, who survived for over 14,000 years to the present day.
enough, refusing to say more.
--- END --- SPOLER

This is the kind of movie I prefer by far, one of those made little money but a good idea .
More than a movie, it almost seems to be a spectators' play : all is the protagonist in the living room, where eight presone speak in front of the fireplace for the duration of the film. If what I just wrote scare you, this probably is not the movie for you.
The premise (the statement that will be the topic of discussion, I will not repeat that for those who want to wisely accept the previous board) is pretty absurd, it must be admitted, but is exploited successfully, during the evening, the eight friends are in practice to rewrite the history of man , all from the comfort of your couch.
History, biology, psychology, theology and the inevitable, all that is upset by the revelations of the protagonist. And the most interesting thing is see the reactions of those present, all very different in outlook and religion.
The only thing I was not convinced of all is the final, where it is expressly revealed the truth / falsity of the allegations of the protagonist. Personally I think that leaving the matter in abeyance would make the film a masterpiece.
